It's so hot!!!

Rory and Gene on the speeder car(or as Dad calls it, the "lamer" car)...it's definitely not as cool as the steam engine or the trolley car, but Rory likes it. Sydney at the park.
All three cousins in the swings, Sydney, Kady and Rory(and Uncle Keith).
Me and Lynnette and the girls.
Dads and the girls.
Sydney and Brandon and Jacob. If everyone who is in our ward actually stays for the next 16 years or so, she's going to have TONS of cute boys to pick from to date. She's definitely in the minority of girls, tons of little boys nowadays!
Rory running around the splash park.

She didn't want to keep her hat on, she looked so cute, though!
Rory and his best buds Caden and Danny.

Well, today and yesterday have definitely been the beginning of summer here in San Diego. It's been close to 100, and the a/c has made it's yearly run already...(it's on now). Saturday was gorgeous, Rory spent the morning running errands with Daddy, and then when he got home, Rory and I went to Old Poway Park and rode the train with our friends Gene and Letecia. Then after naps, Uncle Keith and Aunt Lynnette and Kaydence came over and we had dinner at another nearby park, and hung out for the evening. Today we decided to cool off by heading to a nearby park that has an awesome splash pad, so we spent the morning hanging out with some friends and cooling off. Rory had a blast and didn't want to leave! We'll definitely be spending lots of time at this park this summer.

Girls night, bye Kelli and Whitney!!!

Rachael, Luisa, Stacey, Kelli, Whitney, me, and Rosa.

We had to go out to say goodbye to our good friends Kelli and Whitney, who are both moving this week(I am still thinking I can find a way to keep them both here...). So we(me and some of our other wonderful close friends) had to give them a proper send off with one more girls night out for them to remember before moving to Utah and Idaho(seriously? can't you guys stay? Who needs those states, anyways?). Well, I love you both so much, and anxiously await your return visits...

The Easter Bunny came to our house, and it turns out it's Sydney! Rory and his cousin Madelyn at Grandma and Grandpa Kim's house.

Well, we had a fun filled weekend, spent Saturday at Micah's parents, and Sunday with my parents...needless to say Rory got more than enough treats, so I hid them away to use as bribery tools when needed! Anyways, hope you all had a great Easter!

My Kids...

Okay, I need to get back on track with updating this blog!! Anyways, my friend Tara was so sweet and took photos of the kids this week, and they came out so great!! Here's a few of my faves, I love all 300 that she took, but obviously I'm not going to post all of them on here for your viewing pleasure!! And Sydney wasn't at all in the smiling mood, I think out of all of them, we got a couple where she had a smile on her face, so we'll do another photo shoot of the whole family soon, and hopefully get a few of her beautiful smile!

Anyways, not much else going on. We all had the flu about two weeks ago, poor Rory had the worst of it, he was sick for a week, but everyone is recovered. I'm working on my three month supply of food(and will slowly work towards a year), if anyone has any great tips for this, feel free to let me know. I'm looking for the best way to stock my shelves for the cheapest amount of money. We are going to have a deep freezer in our possession as of this week, so I have big plans to try this new thing out where i spend one Saturday a month cooking, and freeze enough pre-portioned meals to have dinner every night(or most nights) of a month. We'll see how that works. The freezer will also come in handy for the shopping trips that I find great deals on anything I can freeze(produce/meats/etc.). Anyways, I've been feeling the big push to really make sure we're following the counsel of the Prophet, and I need to make sure we're prepared with the necessities!
